Well, ladies, spring is just around the corner, so sunny, warm days are ahead! What does that mean? Well, it’s time for some hand spa, dark nail removal and then it’s time to add some brighter, more vivid colors on your nails.

Every season, new nail polish styles and colors are discovered and brought into the spotlight. Let’s check out the nail polish trends for the 2016 Spring-Summer season:

1. The New, Reinvented French Manicure

French tips have been reinvented! Get ready to try the new frenchie, with serenity blue or green tips. Monique Lhuillier introduced the new frenchie in her Spring-Summer 2016 fashion show and we have to admit, it looks pretty cool.

2. Metallic

This one’s a keeper for the spring-summer season too. You can play with colors and mix them up, opt for the classic metallic gold or silver or go for a metallic, electric shade of blue.

3. Stripes Everywhere

Stripes are back this spring! Where? Well, in your wardrobe for sure, but also on your nails and they look pretty cool too.

4. Shine Bright Like a Diamond

This spring, everything sparkly and glittery goes..on your nails! Our favorite is the confetti-like glitter, but there are other options to try too.

5. Colors

The first two colors that you have to wear on your nails this spring are the two Pantone Colors of 2016: rose quartz and serenity. You can wear them separate or combine the two pastel shades.

Red never goes out of style, and this goes for this spring and summer too. If you’re a fan of bright colors, that will make your hands pop in the crowd, try the electrical blue shade that is a big hit this season.

Grays are still a major hit and they’re here to stay. So don’t throw your gray nail polish away, anything from matte to metallic goes.
